My 10 best mind-expanding films (cinema)
What you will find below is a non-exhaustive list of my 10 favourite films (only in terms of cinematography of course) that, in my humble opinion, should be seen in order to expand our Awareness towards the True Nature of Humanity and Life.
There is no particular classification among them, and I leave it up to you to question and debate the allegorical and metaphorical perspectives they possess at varied degrees and levels.

La Belle Verte
Written and directed by Coline Serreau, released in 1996. Starring Coline Serreau, Marion Cotillard, Vincent Lindon, Patrick Timsit. Multi-language subtitles.
The film portrays about how detached we have become from nature.
A woman from a utopian planet travels to Earth, where she intends on helping through her superior knowledge, so it can become a better planet. She has trouble adjusting, and soon reveals that her goal is that the rest of the galaxy can see Earth as a future friend and not as a potential threat to the galactic community.
When grasping the true meaning of the film, it is not surprising to learn that it was unofficially prohibited throughout the EU and the US by media holders.
Since 1996 it hasn't been shown on TV except a couple of times very late at night and never on mainstream channels.
Unlike most spiritual movies, it is both awakening and funny. It gives you hope for what you could be the evolution of humanity as a species.
It is simply one the best films I have ever seen to date.
