Curriculum:
Who am I and what do I do?
I have never been much into judging someone according to their official academics (well, I have never really been into judging anyone at all actually) but, since it is also part of what we become (everything is connected), and in a goal of being as transparent and honest as I can through the process, I have decided to share my curriculum with you.
Furthermore, we have all met these people who proclaim themselves "master" or "medic" after a 3-day online course, so at least, you will be much more aware of my very own process before we share anything on a much more meaningful, profound level.

My name is Nicolas Genna, and I was born in France on May 29th, 1979. Yet, I feel like a true citizen of the world after having travelled, lived, and worked in 51 countries. I graduated with a Master's Degree in psychological and physical coaching and education (encompassing professional coaching, group management, psychology, micronutrition, and holistic health) at the Sports and Sciences University of Nice, France (2000–2004). This was in complete alignment with my passions at the time, since I had been a professional basketball coach for many years. In addition to my career in training, coaching, and psychological and mental preparation for professional and less-professional sportspeople, I have substantially taught English as a second language, because I became a certified teacher of the University of Cambridge's international CELTA programme in 2011. Yet, as you will easily figure out if you read my book, I have actually indulged in a considerable number of random qualifications and jobs in dozens of varied professional industries around the world (73 different jobs and 40 different types of jobs in 15 different countries, to be precise) in order to explore my Path and, of course, before coming to the point of writing my first book and now sharing it with you.
As I explain substantially in my book, when most people choose (or are forced to choose) a "career", supposedly for the rest of their lives, I have always been inexorably drawn towards a multi-disciplinary approach to existence in an attempt to put all the pieces of the giant cosmic puzzle together, so to speak, and truly understand the meaning of both the human and spiritual experience. I now want to share the story of this journey with others as a natural extension of the journey itself, which has always been about sharing as authentically as possible and inspiring one another. Indeed, during this quest of mine, I was inspired by many wonderful people to continue to move forward and look beyond, just as my incredible adventures surely inspired many in return, not necessarily to do what I have done or take on my beliefs, but rather to perceive the world and the universe in a different way so that they could reconnect with their true essence and their very own mission in this lifetime.
I have always been inexorably drawn to choose an alternative path, and my antagonistic, exploratory tendencies started long before I actually became aware of them. I have learned, through my personal and collective evolution, how to celebrate and embrace my differences instead of being scared of them. And yet, I have never felt like my divergence made me better or worse than anyone else, although it has definitely made me feel different all my life. In a way, it has taught me how to look for real, reciprocal, and kindred connections, whether it comes to Mankind or Mother Earth in general. This is probably the main reason why I have loved being a coach and a teacher, as much as my players and students have loved me in return. I may not have been the best teacher or coach in the world, but I have been real and authentic, which is why I have inspired these people as much as they have inspired me through my most genuine intention to share the beautiful symbiosis between our congruent yet distinct experiences of learning and growing.
This is one of the reasons why, for the last 20 years, I have studied and taught in the fields of sustainable development, Chinese Medicine, acupressure, astrology, astronomy, yoga, Reiki (I am a Reiki Master and I can officially certify trainees all the way to the Master Degree), holistic massage, and physiotherapy. The goal of this project is to explore many emotional, energetical and spiritual tools and to teach the trainees how to interconnect them in order to understand the bigger picture of the big Cosmic Puzzle we live in, and unlike in most courses and retreats, to give them enough time to settle their intentions and integrate them for a more coherent, tangible, and efficient application into their daily lives.
This is also the emotional process I have tried to assimilate throughout my own attempt to write my first book, "The Five Phases of Death". After all, as we are all some kind of artist of our life's masterpiece, we are also some sort of scientist of our very own human and spiritual experiment. I believe that we do not have to dwell in extremes in order to find our own truth, but rather that the latter lies somewhere in between, in a magical, multifaceted mix of Art and Science, of systemic belonging and solitary ingenuity. This is probably the most important teaching that the Buddha ever tried to convey: Every one of us is already a Buddha inside, and everything is a matter of balance in this physical universe. And, whether we believe in an afterlife, in reincarnation, or in just nothing at all, this present existence is precious, and we are all on a life-long quest to reconnect to the balance that suits us best and to become at peace with it.
On the other hand, we should not forget that, in spite of the uniqueness of our very own human experience, we also belong to a collective consciousness that links every single living organism on our planet Earth and most probably far beyond. Do not get me wrong; I am not saying that these ideas are easy to apply in our daily lives, and I am still on my way. After all, I believe that we remain eternal students of the school of Life and of the Universe, and that we inevitably keep learning how to reconnect with the ultimate equilibrium between our body, mind, and spirit until our last breath on this physical plane.
Thank you for reaching out to me and for connecting with my story.
Love and Light,
Nicolas Genna
